 xymara.com:
If you could imagine a miracle color — your personal dream paint — what kind of color/ink/paint would that be?

Tossin:
The whole rainbow.

xymara.com:
What kinds of special effects would you like to have? What would you like to use your special color for?

Tossin:
Color with incorporated textures such as metallic, glassy, velvet like and so forth, for illustrated murals, digital artwork and objects.

xymara.com:
Name your personal 5 IN and OUT in colors. At the moment: which are your 5 favorites?

Tossin:
Green
Pink
Yellow
Cyan
Purple

xymara.com:
And which are your 5 personal dislikes?

Tossin:
Brown
Orange
Cream (pale yellow)
Red
Gray

xymara.com:
Which color would you like to use in the near future/your next project? Why?

Tossin:
Each project requires a different approach regarding the color palette. It is a decision made case by case.

xymara.com:
For your work - what is more important: color or material? Why?

Tossin:
Ideas. Color, because I have been working mainly with illustration and motion graphics. Material is important when the work is printed or it is like an object.

xymara.com:
If you were to buy a sofa right now, what kind of color would you choose and why?

Tossin:
It happens that I have just bought a sofa. It's dark brown (chocolate) but the pillows on top of it have colorful patterned covers.

xymara.com:
When you have to decide on color in your work, do you follow trends?

Tossin:
I follow my feelings first and foremost.

xymara.com:
Where do you live and work, in the States or in Brazil?

Tossin:
Currently I am living in Los Angeles, because of my graduate studies at the California Institute of the Arts (MFA).
