Filling all 19 halls and 166,000 square meters of the Düsseldorf Trade Fair Center to capacity, the 2008 interpack is the biggest to date. From April 24 to 30, representatives from the packaging industry in 57 countries will meet to present and view the full range of processing and packaging trends available for the food and beverage, confectionary and bakery, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, as well as consumer and industrial sectors.

Complete value chains will be on show: from manufacturing and refining of packaged goods to packaging and distribution as well as quality assurance and consumer protection. This year’s fair is showcasing innovations for every single step along the chain as part of the INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING with all-round solutions to today’s packaging challenges. On show will be interactive solutions to meet the diverse needs of homes, retailing, logistics and production. The focus is on fast-moving consumer goods with each being presented in the context of the entire value chain. Visitors will enjoy the offerings of representatives from the raw materials industry, producers of packaging materials, packaging machinery manufacturers and design agencies.
You will find Ciba at stand E18 in Hall 10, showing a number of innovative products and processes that enhance packaging with a special focus on color, transparency and content protection for plastic packaging. Ciba Color Services will show you how to get the best results throughout the color value chain and are also presenting the Ciba® ColorViz solution for color, from measurement to 3D visualization, with perfect simulation for design and decision-making purposes. And the new Ciba OnVu™ time temperature indicators that make “freshness visible” can be seen at the Bizerba stand (C14 in Hall 14). | ![]() |

The interpack trade fair is valuable not only for its encyclopedic range of processes, materials and services but also for its endless networking opportunities. The trade fair has moved a long way since its first event in 1958 at which 255 companies exhibited. The 2005 show gathered 2,654 exhibitors and 2008 will be even bigger. The figures have increased dramatically over the years but the intention behind the event remains the same: to provide access to complete packages for anyone seeking a solution to contemporary packaging challenges.
