Preview Materialica 2008

Munich will be welcoming visitors to the 11th Materialica – the international trade fair for Materials Applications, Surface Technology and Product Engineering - between October 14 and 16, at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. This event is one of the biggest and most specialized events for the materials industry, offering a valuable platform for cross-sector collaborations.

This year’s show comprises four specialized fairs: “Composites”, “Metal Light”, “Surface” and “Ceramics”. Materialica is widely known for its synergistic approach and results. Preview Materialica 2008

Visitors will find information, the latest developments and expertise relating to the entire materials supply chain: raw materials, construction materials, semi-finished products and components, as well as innovative manufacturing, surface, test and production methods. Last year’s event brought more than 7,000 visitors from 33 countries.

The trade fair’s excellent location in southern Germany means that it regularly attracts the presence of important players such as BMW, Siemens, Audi, Daimler and EADS.And each year, many visitors leave having participated in valuable discussions.

After the 2007 Materialica, F. Frisch (EPG Germany AG) said:
