| As construction booms in the Asia region, so does the need for high quality furniture. For the third time, the Hong Kong International Furniture Fair held at the AsiaWorld-Expo between October 28 and 31 is offering visitors the chance to see the best in furniture design from the US, Europe and Asia. |  |
The following categories will be on view: classic, designer, and ethnic furniture, furniture for contract business, indoor, outdoor and office furniture, parts and accessories, smart solution for home and office, and trade publications. This is the place for developers, architects, construction companies, interior designers, project managers as well as members of the public to find everything they need in terms of furniture under one roof.
The show offers its visitors many highlights to sweeten the visit. IGLOO: Inspirational, Glamorous, Lively, Original and Outstanding – is back again. Buyers loved IGLOO’s offering last year with its program of international exhibitors and edgy contemporary design. Complementing it with its antique and reproduction furniture is the classic furniture zone. Some of Hong Kong’s leading companies can be seen at the IFHK pavilion (International Furniture & Decoration (Hong Kong) Association). The IFHK promotes and fosters furniture manufacturing and trading for its members.

Complementing its extensive exhibition, the show is also staging social events to bring people together as well as a series of seminars presented by experts from the field. Last year’s show attracted a total of 172 exhibitors and more than 8,000 buyers from all over the world. 2008 is set to be bigger, better and more exciting than ever.
