The end of October is a great time to be in Tokyo for designers and design aficionados. From October 30 to November 3 you will be able to visit the third edition of Blickfang Tokyo and also take part in 100% Design Tokyo, all at the same location: Jungu Gaien in the Tokyo Aoyama area.

The local area takes advantage of the events in order to turn the district into a happening with cafes, galleries and boutiques making their own contribution.

Blickfang offers European designers an excellent platform from which to show their latest ideas and products and creates a bridge to Japanese design.

Its audience of design-oriented consumers and professionals will have the chance not only to take a look at what young European designers are producing in the area of fashion, jewelry, interior design and furniture, but also to buy.

100% design has picked a costly and precious theme this year: gold. Being designed and organized this year by Michael Young, the show looks at collaboration between genres such as art and design, and performance and design.

Expect the unexpected and watch out for the non-trade show standard turquoise carpeting throughout. 100% Design offers all you need to see of contemporary interior design. Last year almost 86,000 visitors came by.
