The search for new approaches to packaging for perfumes and cosmetics that reflect the precious nature of their content is the focal point of the Perfumes, Cosmetics & Design show in Paris. Being held for the fifth time, it is taking place on February 3 and 4 at the Cité de Sciences et de l’Industrie and, this year, the environment is taking center stage.

In today’s world, beautiful packaging is not enough – more and more we are aspiring to a beautiful finish at the lowest possible cost to the environment. To underscore this point, the first session will be opened by the French Secretary of State for ecology, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet and the session will focus on sustainable and responsible development.

The various presentations will look at sustainable development policies in papermaking, reducing the carbon footprint on perfume packaging in general, innovations in tampo printing and paperboard production without carbon dioxide emissions, among many more contributions.
