All designers take note: the HOW design conference is coming up very soon. From June 10 to 13 in Atlanta, USA, at the Hyatt Regency, designers will be able to tank up on inspiration in the areas of creativity, business and technology. There are many good reasons why every self-respecting designer needs to be there. It’s not just four days of continuing education ranging from new software to brushing-up on client relations and developing new ideas.

It’s not just the access to the Design Resource Center – make sure to take an extra suitcase for the free samples – or the opportunities to network day and night, at mealtimes and during breaks. It’s not even the more than 45 experienced and gifted presenters from every field of design. But it is about the inspiration that every designer can pick up there to fuel up for the coming year.

Technology and production feature large on the 2007 conference schedule as well as four pre-conference technical skills and software workshops. Not just software, but paper and printing, which new techniques and processes are coming out, what to use where, how and why.  The sessions are organized in six tracks for easy orientation: creativity & inspiration, design disciplines, business & management, career development, in-house issues, technology & production. Whatever business you’re in, you’ll find representatives from your target business: multinational corporations, non-profit organizations, academic institutions.
