With five trade shows in one, you cannot beat the luxury, extravagance and sheer glorious extent of Maison&Objet – the trade show for home design professionals being held from September 7 to 11 for the 26th time in Paris – “capitale de la creation!” Located at the Exhibition Center in Paris-Nord Villepinte, the five trade shows encompass: scènes d’interieur, now! design à vivre, projets, éditeurs and, for the first time, OUTDOOR_INDOOR.

With its series of Autumn-Winter collections for 2007/2008, Maison&Objet is celebrating new ways of beating the blues and bringing light into the home. Maison&Objet is all about shining a light on new talent, like the six featured designers – either born in Morocco or linked to the country through their art - who contribute unusual jewelry, natural skincare products, furniture, a new take on traditional Moroccan basics, woven materials or brassware. Look out for the following names: Amina Agueznay, Fairouze Jalal, Hicham Lahlou, Karim Tassi, Soumiya Jala and Yahya Rauch.

Hyper-consumption and waste are the focus of three exhibits in Halls 1, 2 and 3. Nelly Rodi takes a look at how to “rethink, reduce, reuse and recycle”, while François Bernard pinpoints the luxury of quality and micro-production where the work of individuals takes precedence over machines – a celebration of the unique. In hall 3 Elizabeth Leriche focuses on waste, scavenging the refuse of daily life to reframe and transform it into an object of beauty.

With its newest baby – OUTDOOR_INDOOR – Maison&Objet launches itself into the art of bringing the outside inside and vice versa. With more than 7,000 square meters of stands and a hundred leading brands from France and the rest of the world, how better to dive into the world of high-end designer products and creative furniture and accessories for outdoor living?

Yes, the experts are all to be found here, the know-how for every aspect of home care and furnishing and the solutions for every branch of application: all at Maison&Objet.
