A heady combination of contrast and paradox, contradiction and complementarity is what awaits visitors at the Autumn Winter Première Vision show that is taking place in Paris at the Exhibition Center in Paris Nord Villepinte between September 18 and 21. | ![]() |
![]() | Serving the international fashion scene since 1973 with fine fabrics, Première Vision is bringing together 733 exhibitors this September. Held twice a year, Première Vision manages to attract more than 50,000 professional visitors from 110 countries. |
| The trade fair continues to attract new exhibitors, with participants from Morocco, Taiwan and South Korea this year – the latter contributing, among others, sought-after specialist knowledge of functional fabrics for sports and outdoor wear. | ![]() |
Once again visitors will be able to appreciate the creative talents of internationally known designer Matali Crasset and the innovative and inspiring displays she creates for the exhibition fora. This time she is joined by Mathias Gaillaguet on a special project for Indigo Espace Rencontres in which the two artists take visitors into a dream world populated by animals – some imaginary, some extinct – whose surroundings are based on the urban universe depicted in Gaillaguet’s sand paintings.

As always the collections being shown will cover all markets: men’s, women’s and junior, from the very top of the range to boutique, ready to wear and mass market. Visitors can anticipate formal suiting fabrics presented in supple weaves that mold to the body, stretch or slither, combined with delicate chantilly lace or a cloud of chiffon. Neat cottons and denims will be finished with extravagant reflective detail while relaxed leisurewear will slide deliberately out of shape into deconstructed raw weaves and gentle grayish tones for a low-key, dusty look.
