Running virtually concurrently, Meuble Paris and Maison&Objet, held in January from the 24 to 28 and 25 to 29 respectively, bring visitors inspiration, ideas and fabulous furniture to set the standard for 2008.
Meuble Paris – a merger of Salon du Meuble and Planète Meuble – is being held in Paris Le Bourget at the newly renovated exhibition center. With more than 80,000 square meters to cover, this new platform has been eagerly awaited and will offer an unparalleled international range of products and looks.

The show has been organized around two approaches: contemporary and classic / French country and subdivided into five “atmospheres”: époque, ethnic, in(side)&out, classic, and charme. In addition, visitors will also find loft living, today living, soft living and kids living.
Structured with the needs and expectations of furniture dealers in mind, this trade show has been organized to complement Maison&Objet. It is the place to make discoveries, find unexpected scenarios, and enjoy daring settings.
With Maison&Objet, taking place at Paris-Nord Villepinte, the ability to amaze is available in the same large quantities as ever. This year, the show has added yet another dimension: Maison&Objet Musées. This new space is devoted to cultural objects and gifts with companies specialized in reproductions and copies, companies that personalize objects and gifts with a cultural twist, educational and multimedia items.

Among its broad offering this year, Maison&Objet presents dreams of far-off places with ethnic chic, gossamer textiles and color effects, and tableware that provides the backdrop to a myriad perfect meals. With home and interior decoration, everything for the home inside and out can be found grouped under headings like “charme”, “actuel” and “inspiration jardin”. There is also one space given over to the rediscovery of the art of artisans. Here you will see glass blowers, ceramicists and embroiderers, among others, in action – with a spotlight on the work of 12 young artists selected in the Ateliers d’Art de France Young Creators competition.
