Carnival is over, but Brazil is still the place to be: Brasilpack – the International Exhibition for Packaging Production, Packaging Materials and Packaging Processing is taking place in São Paulo between March 10 and 14. The difference this year is that it is part of the 1^st International Packaging, Printing and Logistic week and will be going on at the same time as FIEPAG (with machines, equipment, raw materials, supplies and services for printing companies); Packaging Innovation Exhibit (with a special focus on products and design); Flexo Latin America (printing for labels, tapes, bags, boxes, banners etc.); and Brasil Screen & Digital show.

Brasilpack has been leading the way in packaging in Latin America since 1967 and will, as always, be presenting the latest trends in the packaging industry in conjunction with all the machines, equipment and logistics solutions for the market. As part of the 1^st International Packaging, Printing and Logistic Week, which is a platform for presenting the principal suppliers along the production chain, this event is set to be the most comprehensive for this sector in the southern hemisphere. Around 45,000 visitors are expected from more than 30 countries, along with exhibitors from around 26 countries.

Brazil leads the Latin American market for production of packaging materials and construction of packaging machinery. The Brazilian packaging industry accounts for 3% of the global market, and over 40% of the total volume in Latin America. Industry experts predict growth of up to US $11 billion with an output of 7.5 million tons of packaging material.
