Five educational tracks are on offer: business expertise, generational design, luxury markets, future trends and society and environment. Among the areas covered will be sustainable design, hotels, hospitals, offices and cities of the future and healing environments. Of particular interest are the keynote addresses being delivered by explorer, environmentalist, educator and film producer Jean-Michel Cousteau on Friday March 14 followed on Saturday morning by the President of Universal Design Living Laboratory, Rosemarie Rossetti, and the Chief Creative Officer of Applied Minds, Brian Ferren, on Saturday.

Off-site visits offer an opportunity to absorb some of the city’s rich heritage, including the Ursuline convent and Beauregard Keyes House, uptown mansions and garden district homes, as well as the reborn Crescent City and instruction in digital photography combined with a visit to the French quarter.

Interiors 08 provides a chance to find out about the latest issues, trends and debates in residential and commercial design in a city that is currently undergoing large-scale change and development.
