For Part III of our extensive coverage of the Milan design week this year, we showcase some of the most intriguing design and designers at work today. If you haven’t seen our previous installments yet, do also check out Part I – on design trends – and Part II – on color and materials trends.
For me, this year’s highlight locations were definitely Ventura Lambrate, the Spazio Rossana Orlandi and Wallpaper*’s Handmade exhibition at Brioni, all of which featured the “right” blend of creativity, thoughtfulness, polish and delight. Our coverage on designers below is divided into two sections: the first for the more established studios and the second for the students and young, up-and-comers. Lastly, we have a surprise section at the end, as a kind of palate cleanser ...
