XYMARA™ Design Award - Deadline Extended!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the XYMARA™ Design Award!

The XYMARA Design Award is aimed at fostering innovative design among young designers. The focus of the Award, as with XYMARA.com, is an appreciation for visual surface effects, and the universe of possibilities that arises when novel surfaces are intelligently used in the creation of a new product.

The Award’s three categories are:

• Furniture
• Mobile Phones
• Packaging

Go wild! We want to see clever, unexpected, sensitive and beautiful designs that challenge the role of surfaces in these areas! The only requirement is that Ciba^® XYMARA™ effect pigments are used to enhance and enrich the submitted designs.

Our roster of sponsors and jurors includes L’Oréal, Vodafone, RENOLIT, Material ConneXion, form Magazine and Chris Lefteri.

The closing date for submissions is 11 July 2008.
