INMYX wins the iF communication design award 2007 Screen Design award

We are very pleased to announce that INMYX™, the online magazine for designers published on www.xymara.com, has just won the iF communication design award for the category Screen Design.
 | iF is one of Europe’s longest-standing design institutions, bringing together a large network of close contacts throughout the design industry. Their globally renowned product design award, for example, has existed since 1953, and is therefore one of the oldest design awards worldwide. The list of jury members over the years has become a celebrated roll-call of many of the big names in the design community. Print media, digital media, architecture and public spaces and cross-media – these sub-disciplines were set up under the umbrella of the iF communication design award (itself originally part of the more generic iF design award) in response to the growing complexity of media design, following close consultation with the major players of the design world. |
It is because of this understanding of the increased importance and complexity of modern modes of communication of that we are proud that INMYX has received the appreciation of this year’s iF jury. www.xymara.com strives to keep its finger on the pulse of current trends, helping designers turn their ideas into concrete reality, and with INMYX we aim to provide a platform for information and inspiration for our audience – and this of course means our own website design has to be perfectly aligned with our content and our navigation, to ensure that we are providing the optimum experience to this same audience.
The iF communication design awards are presented every autumn at a festive awards ceremony. The competition is open to advertising agencies and their clients, companies, designers and interior designers. 1140 projects from 25 countries were in competition in 2007. With a print volume of 3,000 copies, the “iF yearbook communication” documents the competition results (also available for view online in the iF online exhibition) and is sold internationally.
