INMYX Takes Home the Gold!

 | We are pleased to announce that XYMARA.com’s online design magazine INMYX has won a coveted Gold iF communication design Award! The iF’s communication design awards were handed out at the Pinakothek der Moderne – its Design Museum itself a temple of modern design – in Munich last Friday August 31 and the Ciba® XYMARA™ team were on-hand, mingling with luminaries of the design world, to witness the proceedings and accept our gold statuette! INMYX won its award for outstanding achievement in the category of Digital Media: Screen Design. INMYX’s screen design was created by designer Oliver Habboub of baon online consulting. |
The judges commented: “This online magazine avoids gimmicks and focuses on the essentials: content and coloration. The clear structure and color coding make the website simple to use and informative - an esthetic site with class.”
The awards ceremony
Out of a field of 1,140 submissions, a “gold selection” of 30 projects receive the gold iF statuette designed by Herbert Schultes in 1996, now christened the “Herbert”. Among the other winners were advertising campaigns, websites, installation events and even the design concept for the chapel in the Berlin Olympic Stadium – including those created for familiar names such as Samsung and LG and Adidas. The iF awards are one of Europe’s longest-standing design institutions, existing since 1953 - and are therefore one of the oldest design awards worldwide.
