Watch out for wood! - Launch of Color Evolution * Wood

Wood is moving out into the light and exploding into color with 11 new trend shades specially designed for use with wood in Ciba’s new color trend publication: Color Evolution * Wood.
The colors of Casual Wood
The new shades are introduced in three groups: Cozy Pop, Casual Wood and Super Nature. The Super Nature series places particular emphasis on protection, allowing the natural grain to be seen, while Casual Wood colors focus on light, washed-out tones that paradoxically look fresher for longer. Cozy Pop is a celebration of color that pays homage to the 1960s and early 1970s with a palette that moves from rich dark colors to brilliance and light. In this range are strong, ebullient colors softened by metallic effects that are reminiscent of the focus on technology that was rife in the 1970s.
The colors of Super Nature
To give you an idea of how XYMARA™ effects combine with the new colors, the Color Evolution * Wood book also includes a series of transparent overlays, one for each of the XYMARA effects – Silver Pearl, Gold Pearl, Dual Pearl, Bronze Pearl, Satin Black Pearl and XYMARA Nordic™. All you need to do is select the effect you are interested in and slide its overlay over one of the trend shades – so you can experiment with effects even if you don’t happen to be in front of your computer and logged in to our Effect Explorer.
