Relaunch of Ciba Specialty Chemicals Imaging & Inks industry website with new features

Ciba’s Coating Effects Segment has relaunched its Imaging & Inks industry website, www.ciba.com/imagingandinks, which now features new functions designed to facilitate fast access to information and services.
“The restyled Imaging & Inks industry website focuses even more fully on our customers, allowing them very rapidly to find the solutions they require by giving them more options and providing access to information at a click,” said Mike Mordente, Global Head of Ciba’ Imaging & Inks Business Line.
New features of the website are a “Technology” entry route, a “Color Selector”, a “Process Shade Selector” and a “Light Fastness Selector”. The “Technology” option, accessed via the “Solution Finder”, allows users to select the technology relevant to their application. Other entry routes via the “Solution Finder” are “End Applications”, “Effects”, “Product Types” and new “Technologies”. Users can choose the shades they require by clicking on the “Color Selector”. The “Process Shade Selector” is then automatically activated and provides instant information on suitable pigments, pigment preparations and dyes. The “Light Fastness Selector” allows the required light fastness level to be chosen, following which appropriate products are recommended.
The website comprises two levels of information, one for the occasional visitor, and a second, more detailed one for registered users. Designed to facilitate the activities of users working across different businesses, the website provides links to other fields, such as Ciba® Color Services, OnVuTM time-temperature indicators and Ciba® Prime ITTM surface modification technology.
A special “Key Survey” tool gives users the option of providing feedback on the website, which will be taken into account in further new developments. For more information, please visit www.ciba.com/imagingandinks
