| Dear Xymara Reader
Dear [user name],
It's time to celebrate! The third edition of our award-winning online magazine, INMYX has now been launched and celebrates design in all its myriad forms!
The year's end is upon us and we at XYMARA.com are also celebrating the launch of our electronic holiday cards, designed by the lovely and talented Alison Ann Martin and animated by our wonderful web developers. With our e-card, you can send your seasonal greetings to friends and family electronically, either by e-mail, or by MMS.
Think of celebrations, and you think of the magical sparkle of glitter and the warm glow of candles. Glow, shimmer, sparkle and shine were our watchwords at a few recent shows we've visited, including the L.A. Auto Show, Material VisionandK 2007. We were also pleased that we've had our first few video reportages embedded into our reviews - see if you can find them!
What's fresh? What's new? What are the latest trends? Have your say on XYMARA.com! We will be collecting trend impressions and thoughts from our visitors at our next big show - the Passagen in Cologne - and then publishing our interviews with you in our interviews section over the duration of the event. Come visit our installation at the Spichern Höfe, right in the city center!
It's a time for celebration everywhere in the world and Roslyn Collins brings us the Asian perspective this month.
All our best wishes for the season of celebrations!

 | | In our time of heightened environmental sensibility, the demand for sustainable products has become ubiquitous. After years of mass-production fueled by the need for plentiful, uniform, inexpensive goods - and the ensuing desire for personalized products that was met by artificially-generated options for customization - we are now at the point where it becomes inevitable that sustainability is only reached by simply producing what we really want and need. The most basic way of achieving that goal is by Doing-it-yourself.

 | | As much as fixed-gear riding is about pure joy, it is also a rebellion against cookie-cutter life and set rules. It is about bending the rules, disobeying traffic laws, wearing no helmet, using no brakes in the streets.
