| Dear Xymara Reader
This month's exclusive Color Trend Research paper is about - what else? - eco-conscious solutions for the future. What are the new ideas and technologies for re-usable plastics? Find out here …
Talking about trends, we've been featuring wood a lot on our site recently because wood is a perennial trend material, going from strength to strength and gaining more importance in concert with the ever-growing focus on sustainability and eco-awareness. This month, we discussed all these issues, together with the new degrees of freedom offered by own efforts (with our eleven new wood trend stylings and our Color Catcher™ Wood form).
More trends: Is white the new white? Maybe, if it's white "with benefits"! Check out the trend report on the Future of White we've republished with kind permission from the Asia Pacific Coatings Journal.
As promised last time, we reported back on quite a few design events during the course of the last month: the Perfume Cosmetics Design conference, the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Maison&Objet in Paris and Berlin Fashion Week. More to come, of course - it's our pleasure to scope out the most interesting trends and designs on your behalf and report them back to you!
Lastly, we're gearing up towards two major announcements in the next week or so, so keep a look out on the XYMARA.com site!
We hope you continue to enjoy our world of effects and emotion at XYMARA.com!

 | | Industrially produced plastic goods are quite a vision of delight for many a designer.
Injection molding, thermoforming, and extrusion processes facilitate the realization
of appealingly colorful products that may come in any shape. However, so far, rising
material costs due to the growing shortage of crude oil and poor environmental
compatibility of the production process and disposal were major disadvantages of
these products.
