Carla Sorato-Attinger, Head Marketing Communications, Coating Effects, Ciba Inc.


Dr. Carla Sorato Attinger was awarded a doctorate in chemistry in Zurich ETH and has been active with Ciba, Basel, since 1991. There, she is in the Coating Effects Segment, responsible for all world wide E-business, Internet and Marketing Communication activities.




She currently also leads the effort for www.xymara.com.


Previously she was product manager for UV absorbers and Specialty Antioxidants and marketing manager for engineering plastics.


She speaks six languages and enjoys music and travelling.
