Doty Horn, Director of Color and Design of Benjamin Moore


Doty Horn is the Director of Color and Design for Benjamin Moore. Doty’s role is to develop and set the company’s strategic color and design strategy for North America. She is, also, a member of a global color panel, The Mix, a London Color & Design Forecast agency as to future trends in the world market, as well as leading color alliances with international brands.




With extensive design and marketing experience in the Fashion and Interior Design Industries, Doty has shared her vision and design expertise with Commercial and Residential design professionals throughout North America. Her diverse back ground stems from the fashion industry, including teaching at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, to owning/operating a business of interiors for children, to the mass market design and marketing of residential and commercial interior products.


She has worked for prominent companies such as Armstrong World Industries, Formica Corporation, J. Josephson Wallcovering, and Cole of California Swimwear. Doty is a member of prominent associations: CMG, IIDA, IFDA.


This diverse and refined experience gives Doty a broad understanding of many design industries.
